Hello J2 Parents!!
Language Arts:
Today, the students focused on capitalizing the first letter of a the first word of a sentence. Overall, they’ve done a pretty good job remembering to do it. There are very rare moments that they forget, so it was a good review afternoon for them to remember how to pay attention to their writing.
Special Project:
Today, the students showed me their research answers for their favorite character. They did a pretty good job! They had some questions in how to right the answers and say them for the presentation (mid September). A reminder to the parents where the students didn’t start the research yet: be sure to help you son/daughter because this’ll be a little difficult for them to do it at home on their own. Whatever can’t be answered at home will be answered in class after break. For the students that did finish, you don’t have any homework for summer vacation. I understand that all families have different plans for this summer, so please enjoy family time. The research questions can be finished in class, if needs be.
