Hello J2 parents!!!
Writing:
Today, the students focused on their third round of writing prompts. We had three images for them to choose from. The main point of the lesson was to finish a first draft of their paper showcasing a strong beginning and ending. I’ll correct these and hand it back to them next week. Will be more strict with these papers, so they can see what their strengths and weaknesses are when it comes to writing stories. They all worked very well today, and I’m very proud of them.
Science:
This evening, the students learned how different organisms protect a different organism. From ants protecting plants to small underwater fish being protected by the sharp spikes of the sea urchin. They did a better job labeling their diagram of animals/plants protecting each other.
