Hello J2 Parents!!
Language Arts:
This afternoon, the students reviewed their usage of capital letters. They went over capitalizing the first letter of days, months, but now we introduced holidays. First, we went over the popular holidays that take place internationally. Then, I asked them if they know of any holidays that only take place nationally (Japan). They then wrote down about something special that happened to them this week, they also then wrote about what their favorite holiday was and why.
Special Project/Monster:
This evening, most of the students finished their stage of their plan on paper so they then moved to constructing their Halloween creation. This’ll take about three weeks to complete, but it was extremely enjoyable to see how creative they were constructing their creations.
