Today we discovered where shadows come from… turns out they’ve been following us this whole time!
To cast a shadow, you always need a source of light, so how about we try creating some shadows?
The class learned hand shadows and immediately turned into professional wall puppeteers. Who knew our hands could transform into dogs, birds, and absolute chaos?
We made our own mini shadow projectors — basically tiny Batman signals but way better! Everybody chose a shape they wanted to cast on the wall.
A simple flashlight and a paper tube became our very own shadow makers and turned tiny cutouts into big shadows!
The class tested their shadow projectors and the results were so fun to see. Everyone’s design looked completely different once it became a shadow!
