December is here and that can mean only one thing, it’s Christmas time!
We warmed up by reviewing our Christmas vocabulary and facts.
“Does anyone know how many reindeer Santa has?”

“Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen… and we can’t forget Rudolf.”
“How many is that?” “Nine.”

Students learned what activities people do in North America at Christmas time.
On Christmas day, people eat a big meal with many different dishes.
“That looks good.”

Singing songs at the holidays is also a Christmas tradition.
Students began practicing this year’s holiday song.
There is one more imporant holiday tradition in North America.

First, you need to make space for cookies and milk.

Don’t forget about the reindeer.

Decorate it any way you like.

Now you have a placemat for the treats you will leave Santa.
Students hope he will like the cookies they leave.
