Friday was our special time to celebrate the October birthdays. However, before we had the birthday party all of the students made a fun windmill toy.
The students each colored their own unique patterns around the borders of two plates.
After cutting out the centers of the plates and connecting them together, the “wheels” spin around whenever air blows straight against them. The students took turns running in circles around the gym to watch them spin.
At last, the birthday students stepped to the front to be celebrated and to receive a small present.
