We learned that Thanksgiving is a popular holiday in North America and is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November.
We then studied the history of Thanksgiving and worked on producing our own Pilgrim play. Students created props and costumes and were assigned roles as Wampanoag, Native Indians, Pilgrims, or Turkeys.
