The air was filled with excitement, pumpkin seeds, and a touch of spooky magic at our recent Pumpkin Carving Event at the Ebisu Prime school! It was wonderful to see so many families join us for a fun, hands-on activity that brought a classic Halloween tradition right into our classroom.
Design, Dig, and Delight! ✍️🔪
The carving station was buzzing with creativity! Our students, often with the helpful guidance and steady hands of their parents, planned out their terrifying, silly, and unique jack-o’-lantern faces. From scooping out the gooey insides to carefully cutting out triangles and jagged teeth, this activity was a great blend of creativity, teamwork, and—most slightly—fun! Everyone, even the adults, got totally immersed in the process.

The best part of the event was seeing the diverse personalities shine through in the final carved faces. Once the last piece was cut, it was time to light them up and show them off! The pride on the students’ faces as they held their finished jack-o’-lanterns was absolutely infectious. Thank you to all the parents for helping create such memorable works of art!

A Glow-Up! 🕯️🧡
As the daylight faded, we lit the candles, and the classroom transformed. Seeing all the jack-o’-lanterns lined up and glowing against the dark background was the perfect, spooky conclusion to our event. The bright orange light illuminated all the hard work and creativity poured into each pumpkin.
Thank you again to everyone who came and helped make this year’s pumpkin carving event a resounding success. We love creating fun, festive memories with our students and their families! We can’t wait for the next event!
