This week, students learned about hunters and gatherers.
They watched a video about how people lived long ago. People hunted animals and gathered plants for food.
Students played a game where food cards were hidden around the room. Some foods were safe to eat, and some were poisonous. Students looked for the cards and talked about which foods were good and which were dangerous.
They also moved around and pretended to be people from long ago. Everyone worked together and had fun.
Finally, students looked at a cave shelter and talked about how early people lived.
