🏅

This week in Social Studies, students learned about the Olympic Games and where they are held. We looked at a map together and talked about the host cities. Students were excited to learn that the Olympics bring many countries together.

Next, we watched a short video about Olympic mascots from past games. Students learned that mascots represent the host country and help make the Olympics fun and friendly.

After that, students designed their own Olympic mascot. They drew creative characters, added details, and shared ideas about their mascots with friends. Some mascots were funny, some were strong, and all were very imaginative!

It was a great mix of learning, art, and teamwork and everyone showed their Olympic spirit!

That’s all for now let’s keep going for the gold! 🥇
