Today we were discussing different sources of light. We came up with over 10 kinds of lights! From fireflies, fire, lightening to moonlight. We watched a video about the history of light! We discovered even more different types of light!
After this, we looked at a list of different objects and thought about which objects emit light and which ones do not. This was very informative!
After this, we tried two different experiments to show how far light can travel. We learnt about how light can travel through different objects. One such way that light can travel is through water.
This was very fascinating for the students to see as this was a new way to see how light moves! We put a flashlight underneath a water bottle to see how the light passes through the water even from a small distance.
Everyone really enjoyed today lesson on learning about different forms of light!
