Today in ACCESS we worked on Science. Our theme for this month is “Animals in Hokkaido”.

First, the students reviewed the animals they have looked at over the last couple of weeks.

Then, we switched our focus to the sika deer. The students learned many new facts about the deer. This focused on their antlers and how they shed them each year.

Lastly, the students got to see real deer antlers, and feel and observe them. After completing their observation, the students completed a worksheet on the antlers they observed.
