Today in ACCESS, we continued with our October theme of “Pirates”.
To start our class, we discussed some of the vocabulary we associate with pirates. This included words like ship, treasure, map, Black Beard, flag, and Jolly Rancher.
Next, the students looked at different pirate flags and their special meanings.
Lastly, the students were asked to design their own original pirate flag and explain its meaning.
