This week we covered the third type of forest: the Boreal Forest.
Unlike the forests we talked about last week, this type of forest is only in cold places like Canada and Iceland.
We explored how the cold turned the pinecones into a different color and made a few pinecones into a similar color for today’s experiment.
We brainstormed what animals live in the Boreal forests and made a poster showing both the animals and the changes pinecones inside of a Boreal Forest environment.
