Today in Jupiter 1, we worked on two different subjects.

In our first lesson, we worked on reading. We completed our story about a boy and his grandmother in Chinatown. This looked at all the different senses the boy came across on his travels through Chinatown.

After each student took turns reading, we looked at six challenging vocabulary that popped up in the story.

Lastly, we completed some reading comprehension questions.

In our second lesson, we were working on science.

Our focus today was on “marshes” and the animals that inhabit them.

We also discussed the transfer of energy between the sun all the way up to an eagle.
