Today the students learned about insects that camouflage. There were many examples the students looked at or talked about, but our special project focused on the butterfly.
First, each student decided upon the colors their butterfly should be. They used crayons to decorate the butterfly shape.
The butterfly shape was then placed onto a black sheet. The students then had to divide the background into the colors of the butterfly.
As the page filled with color, the butterfly began to disappear.
