Welcome back everyone to a new school year!
To start our Wednesdays in April, we started looking at everything about ourselves.
To start our lesson, we discussed different items we can use to measure things.
Next, we moved onto a fun game where the students shared information about their likes. The goal of the game was to get the person sitting opposite them to agree and pass some yarn. The goal was to get the yarn to become as long as possible.
Lastly, we measured ourselves with pieces of yarn. The students then folded their height in yarn to equal different body parts. We then displayed our lengths of yarn from longest to shortest.
