Hello Jupiter 2 Parents!!
Today the students worked very hard, and I’m very proud of their progress.
Today, for Language Arts the students covered the four sentence types (Statements, Questions, Exclamations, and Commands). They worked on correcting sentences that had the wrong punctuation mark, and wrote the correct one next to it. They worked very well together! We needed a bit more practice with question marks, but they’re all progressing steadily.
Special Project:
The students are another step closer at finishing their posters for their favorite food from their favorite country and how to make it/ingredients. Now, they’re writing down the ingredients/how to make the dishes. We simplified the amount of sentences, so that they’d only write down the most important parts. They’ll be finished by next week Friday, and they can’t wait to tell all of you how to make their dishes. They’ve been working so hard on this, and asking so many wonderful questions to make sure that their poster is perfect. I’m very proud of them!
