Hello Jupiter 2 Parents!!
Language Arts:
Today, we learned how to combine sentences using the word, “and”. They learned to write two independent clauses and if they both are saying the same thing of a noun doing something the same or looking the same to add “and” in the middle to connect them. It was good challenge, and they took notes in their light blue notebook. If they forget how to do it they can refer to their notes.
Special Project: Food Around The World
This evening, the students finished their posters. Apologies for this project taking longer than originally expected, they did such a good job and have very creative posters depicting the food from around the world. Each of them picked a different country. Next week, we’ll be deciding as a class what the new project will be. I’m very proud of them, and their standing up to all challenges of learning new ways to write/present.
