Hello J2 Parents!

First off, let me apologize for this late post. Usually, I’m able to write this right away but there were situations that happened yesterday that needed my attention. So again, I’m very sorry for this late post.

Writing:

Yesterday, the kids learned what a Venn Diagram is. I wrote an example on the whiteboard of the differences/similarities of lizards and birds. This is to help them cultivate original ideas for their own writing, and to help them be more creative when it comes to descriptions for their own stories. Next week Tuesday, they’ll be writing a new creative paper. During this weekend, please help them think of original ideas and ask them to describe things they see.

Science:

Yesterday, the students did a great job finishing their Chameleon class poster. They communicated with each other very well, and used great penmanship for each sentence they wrote.

They all worked together to create something wonderful, and did a great job piecing it all together.

Enjoy the day, and take care!
