The Jupiter 4-6 students read an article about traditional games played in different countries. They learned that many games around the world are the same but have slight variations in each country.

One such game they learned about is the Chinese game of Tangram in which they have to make images with a set of premade shapes.

In addition to the reading comprehension, the students do a wordsearch which incorporates vocabulary from the text to aid their skim reading skills.

And…. the fastest finisher today got the added bonus of wearing the champion’s hat in honor of the 2024 Hat Week!
