This month we are going to be learning about the equipment and operation of a Craftsman’s workshop. Today’s main focus was on the dangers of the workshop (debris, heavy machines, and sharp tools like saws).
Then we also talked about PPE and some tips to stay safe in a workshop. Students guessed what each piece of safety equipment was for.
Then we got to use sand paper to prepare our blocks of wood. We sanded the edges, then began to draw animal faces onto the blocks.
