Today we celebrated the bean throwing festival! We learnt about the main way that we celebrate this festival. We throw soy beans at demons in order to have a good year ahead of us and for good luck!
After this discussion, we then began to make our own demons from a balloon! We began by making the horns!
After this, we then began to draw the face of our demon!
Once we had finished, we tied string to the demons and strung them up to the ceiling!
Don’t they look so scary!
Once we had finished sticking them to the ceiling, we then tried to hit them with beans! Everyone had so much fun trying to hit them!
