Continuing our monthly theme about opposites, today we looked especially at concept of being backward. The class thought of some ideas about what would be difficult to do backward.

Next we examined some mirrors. The students noticed that the image in the mirror was opposite to how the real object was. The class had a game, in pairs, trying to mirror each other. 

     Finally, the class took on the challenge of writing a backward message. Not only the direction of writing, but also the shape of the letters had to be backward. The students had a fun trying to get it right, so they could hold their messages up to the mirror and see it reflected back as normal.
