This week, students went to a nearby shrine to pay their respects for the New Year.
They learned how to be quiet and respectful. Students made a New Year wish and looked at the shrine and fish pond.
After that, students played a little at the park. They climbed, ran, and played together.
Then, students came back to class and made a Balloon New Year Wish Wall. They wrote simple wishes about family, health, pets, and school. Everyone worked carefully and shared their ideas.
It was a calm, fun, and happy way to start the new year.
A year full of wish-es has begun!
