Today’s Fun Fun Friday activity involved Sue the cool nickname for the biggest T. rex fossil ever found! Discovered in 1990 in South Dakota and 67 million years old, Sue teaches us lots about how dinosaurs lived.

So to celebrate Sue we made our own Dinosaur block heads.

Using old cardboard boxes and our teachers help we drew some dinosaur outlines.

Then we got to some painting. No one knows what color dinosaurs really were in the past, so we could paint them any color we desired.

It was such a messy activity, but they came out really nice.

Maybe one of them looked like Sue.

We have to wait for them to dry to really try them out.

Till next week let’s explore some more dinosaurs.
