In our classroom adventure, we delved into the enchanting world of lucky and unlucky numbers across cultures.

Japan unveiled the mysteries behind 4 (associated with “death”), 9 (“suffering”), and the revered 8 (“wealth”). Meanwhile, America had its own tales with 7 symbolizing good fortune and completeness, while 13 was seen as an unlucky number.

Eager to discover our own luck, we added the digits of our birthdates, one by one, until we arrived at a single, personal lucky number. The room buzzed with excitement as each of us found our unique digit, connecting us to a bit of number magic.

To commemorate this special journey, we crafted personalized number cards. These cards now hold our chosen digits, a tangible reminder of the day we uncovered the enchantment within our own numbers and the diverse beliefs worldwide.
