This week we spent time learning about puzzles. We learned about the history of puzzles, and how they have evolved. Kids love doing puzzles, so we decided to make our own!
Plus, it was National Puzzle Day!
We made four teams to start. Each team chose a picture to turn into a puzzle. The teams then drew puzzle pieces on the back of that picture.
“Not too small!”
Can I try?”
After drawing the puzzle, we cut the pieces out.
“Too many pieces!”
“Almost finished.”
Now the fun part! We timed the kids to see which team could finish their puzzle first.
“It’s easy.”
“I can do the cat and dog.”
“I don’t need help.”
“Almost finished!”
All the teams did very well! I feel like buying a puzzle now!
