This week’s art goal was to create an animal peeking out of its hiding hole in a tree.
With it being the Year of the Snake, now is the perfect time to celebrate our forest animals.
The first step was to design a tree for the animal to live in.
Students could choose to have one, two, or even three hiding holes in their tree.
Students had to decide, would their animals be small and cute? Or big and scary?
Look at all or cozy forest creatures.
Since it was the day after Setsubun, students also chased away a demon to bring in good luck for the year.
