Our journey around the world continues.
Students are now confidently singing along to Verse 1 of the countries of the world song.
This week, we took a trip to South America.
Students practiced the names of the 12 countries located on the continent.
They also compared their flags.
“Who can find Argentina?”
“Here it is. Look.”
After learning a bit about the continent’s geography, students took a trip to Peru.
They were surprised to learn there is a desert in the country.
We finished off our day with a flag quiz using both the European and South American flags.
Some students really know their flags!
