The last week of the school year we learned about the deities of ancient Egypt. These are the Gods that help Egyptians through life.
We learned about Ra, the god of the sun, light, and life. Osiris, the god of the afterlife and resurrection from the dead. As well we learned about Bastet, the god with the head of a cat. She was responsible for helping women in childbirth.
We made some decorative Egyptian bracelets too. We used many beads to create our unique accessories.
Well done everyone it was a fun packed year learning many topics in social studies.
