This week in ACCESS the students had fun continuing to learn about cowboy culture in social studies. We learned what cowboys typically wear to keep themselves safe and stylish.
One item of clothing that cowboys wear is a vest. The students brought recycled paper bags from home to make their own cowboy vest at school.
The students were quite creative with their designs. Many students made pockets, buttons, fringe, and stars on their vests.
Lots of students got into character and took out their lasso to catch some cattle!
