This month in Social studies we will be learning about the popular children’s toy, the spinning top. Today we began creating our own tops and a stadium to spin them in.
These boys did great work to design their plan for their spinning top stadium. They started building the walls of the stadium so no tops go flying out.
The girls are hard at work to create their unique spinning top designs. You can see they are using rulers to make accurate measurements of their tops.
Some students have already started using origami paper to fold and create their own 3D top. These students are having fun spinning their tops together.
Well done everyone! Great team work and collaboration on this fun project.
