This week PIP K3 students starting making items that we will use in our annual Christmas performance later this month.
One of the main props that we needed was a large chimney & fireplace, which will be used to hang Christmas stockings, and for Santa to enter and exit through.
First students mixed up various colors of paint, including brown, red, and black in order to make a color suitable for bricks.
Then once all mixed, they got to work painting all four sides of this massive box!! 📦
Finally, after some hard work and patience – the box was completely covered in our brick colored paint (which turned out to look more like chocolate 😆)
And then with a little help from their teacher, the chimney / fireplace was complete! 🔥
