Look at it go.

That’s a mysterious egg.

Today’s art was also a science experiment.

Students began by drawing any design they liked on their aluminum foil.

They took great care to make their designs unique.

Look at this train.

The student told me it’s the Shinjuku Line.

There were so many fun and creative designs.

Next, it was time to shape the egg.

Students flipped their papers over so the design was on the bottom.

They put a marble inside, then folded the edges until the marble was safely pocketed.

Then it was time to shake, shake, shake!

The aluminum drawings magically turned into eggs.

Of course, students wanted to try rolling their eggs.

The eggs moved in such a mysterious way.
