This week we had fun watching and learning about a famous play, the Nutcracker. For many students it was a new story, while others they enjoyed hearing it again.
The story follows a girl that opens a gift on Christmas morning. It was a Nutcracker. In her dream the Nutcracker fights a Rat King.
The students will recreate their own Nutcracker ballet this month with their own paper characters and background designs.
We will continue to work on this exciting project next week.
